How we verify

This site's value is accuracy. Relocation rules change, and stale information is worse than none — so we make verification a mechanical part of publishing, not an afterthought.

Every page is sourced

A page cannot be published without at least one primary source — an official Italian authority (Agenzia delle Entrate, Ministero dell'Interno, Ministero della Salute, the relevant comune or health authority) or the EU's Your Europe portal. This is enforced by the build itself: the content schema rejects any page missing its sources.

Every page is dated

Each page shows when it was last verified and when it is next due for review. An automated check flags overdue pages so they get re-checked rather than silently trusted. When a page is past its review date you'll see a "review due" badge instead of a verification date.

We work at the right level of detail

Italy's rules apply at three levels, and we mirror that exactly:

• National — the codice fiscale is uniform across Italy.
• Comune — residency registration (anagrafe) is run by each comune, so the office, booking system and forms are local.
• Regional — the health service (SSN) authority depends on your region.

Where we don't yet have a verified local detail, we say so plainly and point you to the official office — we never invent specifics.

Drafts are labelled

Pages still awaiting a full primary-source check carry a visible "draft" note. They are structured and sourced, but you should confirm specifics with the cited authority until the label is removed.
